The engineer will focus on confirming manufacturing tool and facility readiness, specifically for the Eines and other metrology tools, while managing the implementation of quality improvement items to meet build targets. Beyond launch support, the position is responsible for driving current model quality improvements in the Body Shop, focusing on reducing Repairs/1000 (R/1000), managing VME responsibilities for minor programs and running changes, and leading the implementation of tools, technologies, and error-proofing methods to resolve process and manufacturing related issues.
