This role focuses on designing and delivering resilient, maintainable microservices that power customer-facing and internal applications., You will work closely with Product, QA, and Operations to ship well-tested, production-ready systems that scale. The successful candidate will combine strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience using modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to increase throughput while maintaining high quality and reliability. ResponsibilitiesBackend Engineering & Microservices * Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot, or comparable enterprise frameworks. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a strong emphasis on Test Driven Development (TDD). * Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservice-based architectures. * Work with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements into pragmatic technical solutions. * Deliver production-ready software on schedule while maintaining quality and reliability. CI/CD, Cloud & Infrastructure * Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools. * Automate software build, test, and deployment processes. * Containerize services using Docker. * Deploy and operate services using Kubernetes and Amazon EKS. * Support observability, autoscaling, and reliability across production services.
