WORKING CONDITIONS: The work is performed indoors and outside in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. Must be able to reach, handle, work with fingers, and feel. Must have ability to work at a desk, conference table, or in meetings of various configurations. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods. Must be able to speak and listen and have an effective and persuasive speaking voice when answering the phone and working with other employees. Must possess visual acuity and manual dexterity. May be subject to risks of electrical shock when working around power lines and in substations. As an essential service provider and emergency responder, Coast Electric employees may be required to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays during outages, severe weather, natural disasters, and other emergency situations. ## Description Coast Electric is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented System Engineer II to join our Engineering and Operations team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining and improving the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our electrical distribution systems.
