## About the Role

* At least 5-6 months of fiber or structured cabling experience
 * Hands-on experience with Cat5/Cat6, coax, copper, and/or fiber cabling
 * Basic rack-and-stack and data center knowledge
 * Experience in a data center, central office, telecommunications, military, or technical environment is a plus
 * Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
 * Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
 * Ability to lift equipment, work in rack spaces, and stand for extended periods
 * Personal crimping tools are preferred

## Description

NTT is supporting a proof-of-concept program for Google AI data center builds and is seeking entry-level Data Center Field Technicians to join the team. This is a hands-on opportunity to build practical data center experience while working alongside experienced technicians.

What You'll Do

 * Assemble and prepare server racks, including rails, PDUs, cable management, and labeling
 * Rack and stack servers, networking, and storage equipment
 * Install and route structured cabling, including copper, fiber, coax, Cat5, and Cat6
 * Connect A/B power feeds according to established procedures
 * Install blanking panels and support airflow and cooling setup
 * Assist with direct-to-chip liquid cooling connections under supervision
 * Follow diagrams, checklists, and method-of-procedure documents
 * Perform basic quality checks and report issues
 * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
