## About the Role

Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience, ideally within an e-commerce or high-transaction environment
Strong proficiency in .
NET (Core) and C#
Professional knowledge on NodeJS and Angular
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as SQL Server and modern NoSQL solutions
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, design patterns, and principles for building scalable and maintainable distributed systems
Experience developing and consuming APIs (REST and/or SOAP) using formats such as JSON and XML
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit
Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GoCD, or similar platforms
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle from requirements through to production support
Desirable Experience
Experience working within Agile development environments
Experience collaborating with distributed or geographically dispersed teams
Understanding of low-latency, high-concurrency, distributed systems and the challenges associated with building them
Experience developing cloud-native applications
Hands-on knowledge of a major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
