You will become familiar with our codebases, historical and real-time data, system architecture, deployment processes, monitoring tools, and risk controls. You will build working relationships with traders, quantitative researchers, developers, and infrastructure engineers, begin participating in technical design and code reviews, and make initial contributions to the production system.Within 3 months, you will take end-to-end ownership of a meaningful strategy, research, pricing, risk, or trading-system enhancement. You will work directly with developers and quantitative researchers to refine the problem, identify appropriate success criteria, and implement the solution. You will validate your work in non-production testing environments. You will coordinate deployment of your changes with appropriate monitoring and controls, participate effectively in production support, and begin identifying opportunities to improve system performance and maintainability.
