This role oversees the successful modifications of optical and packet infrastructure, as well as, colocation facility changes, enabling innovative services for the Internet2 community. This position, Manager, Network Engineering, will contribute to technology roadmaps and implementation strategies, drive continuous improvement of operational systems and processes, and support the Internet2 community in the successful adoption and implementation of services. Working closely with stakeholders at the national, regional, and campus levels, this individual will lead a team that addresses complex customer and network challenges while serving as an escalation point for the Network Operations Center (NOC), service desk, and break-fix teams.
