Preferred: * Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Experience in healthcare, genomics, diagnostics, or other regulated environments. * Experience with Okta or comparable identity providers. * Working knowledge of PHP/Symfony sufficient to refactor legacy functionality. * Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling. * Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices. ## Description The Senior Software Engineer is a hands-on technical leader responsible for architecting and delivering the Java-based services at the core of Ambry's platform modernization. This role ensures technology execution stays aligned with strategic business goals, owning the design and build of Spring Boot microservices that replace legacy monolith functionality. The position drives legacy system refactoring, cloud migration, microservices adoption, and CI/CD maturity across the engineering organization.
