In this role, you'll lead and build a team of Growth Software Engineers focused on user engagement, activation, and adoption across our AI-powered design platform. You'll stay technically engaged-contributing to production systems when needed-while primarily focusing on growing a high-impact team and driving a strong growth engineering culture. We believe there is a better way to design our cities. To enable this, we are transforming how architects and engineers work through collaborative, outcome-driven design tools. Your work will directly impact how users discover value quickly and succeed in their design workflows. About the Role As Engineering Manager for Growth, you will build and lead a team dedicated to improving user journeys across the Forma ecosystem-from onboarding and activation to long-term engagement. You will join a cross-functional team, working in a highly experimental, data-driven environment. Together, you will identify opportunities, run experiments, and deliver features that help users realize value faster. This role combines: * People leadership - building and growing a strong team * Technical leadership - guiding architecture and contributing where needed * Growth mindset - driving experimentation and measurable impact What You Will Do Build and Lead the Growth Engineering Team * Hire, onboard, and develop a team of Growth Software Engineers * Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning * Coach engineers in both technical and product thinking * Create an environment where engineers feel supported, challenged, and empowered Drive Growth Through Engineering * Lead initiatives focused on onboarding, activation, retention, and engagement * Enable rapid experimentation (A/B testing, feature flags, analytics-driven iteration) * Partner with Product and Design to identify and prioritize growth opportunities * Ensure the team delivers measurable impact on key user and business metrics Strengthen Data-Driven Development * Promote best practices in experimentation and hypothesis-driven development * Ensure proper instrumentation, analytics, and feedback loops * Use data to guide decisions and continuously improve user experiences Collaborate Across the Organization * Work closely with other product areas * Partner with analytics, platform, and infrastructure teams * Contribute to the broader engineering management group About the Team The Growth team works across the Forma product ecosystem, focusing on: * Personalized onboarding experiences * User journey optimization * Feature discovery and activation * Experimentation and conversion optimization The team plays a critical role in ensuring users quickly understand and benefit from the product. ## Related Videos - [User 1st!
