## About the Role

* Deep enough functional fluency in at least one Life Sciences business process domain, such as Events, Field Excellence, or Medical Affairs, to be the credible expert in the room with client business owners and not just the platform expert
 * Comfort operating at the intersection of business process and technology, including staying engaged through how a future state gets built and where AI or agentic capabilities fit
 * Ability to translate ambiguous business intent into structured, build ready detail
 * Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to run a room of client stakeholders through a future state conversation and land on decisions rather than just document opinions
 * Ability to lead workstreams independently while collaborating across cross functional technical and business teams
 * Executive level written and verbal communication, since this role regularly represents transformation vision to senior client stakeholders
 * Meticulous attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger operating model picture
 * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast paced, evolving environment, * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
 * 3+ years of professional experience in consulting or relevant Life Sciences industry roles, such as commercial operations, field operations, medical affairs, or sales operations
 * 3+ years of hands on ownership of at least one core Life Sciences business process, such as Key Account Management, Speaker or Event Management, Field Coaching, or Medical Interactions, either as a practitioner or as a consultant who led its redesign
 * Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients you serve
 * Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

 * Experience translating business process requirements into technology solutions.
 * Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud experience is preferred, but equivalent CRM or commercial platform experience will be considered
 * Salesforce Certified Agentforce for Life Sciences Consultant
 * Direct experience defining or scoping agentic AI use cases within a commercial or medical process, such as account planning, next best action, or case triage
 * 2+ years of hands on experience configuring or advising on Life Sciences capabilities specifically, across personas such as Field Sales, KAM, MSLs, or Field Reimbursement Managers
 * Experience with adjacent Salesforce products such as Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, or MuleSoft based integrations
 * Experience delivering in a SAFe Agile environment at the Solution Train, ART, or scrum team level

## Description

Deloitte's Sales & Service practice partners with the world's leading life sciences companies to reimagine how their commercial, medical, and field organizations operate, and to bring that vision to life on Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud. This role is built for consultants who lead with functional depth. Candidates should have actually run, designed, or advised on processes like Key Account Management, Speaker and Event Management, Field Coaching, or Medical Interaction workflows, and be able to translate that operating knowledge into a future state vision. From there, they will work closely with technical teams, including agentic AI capabilities, to build it. You will define where the client is today, articulate where they need to go, and own the future state narrative that anchors the transformation, not just configure the tool that gets them there.

Work you'll do

As a Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for the following.

 * Leading current state assessments and future state visioning for core Life Sciences commercial and medical processes such as Key Account Management, Speaker and Event Management, Field Coaching and Competency, Medical Interactions, and Sample Management, and articulating that journey to client stakeholders
 * Acting as the functional voice in the room. This means challenging legacy process assumptions, identifying where standardization should win over customization, and defining what "better" looks like before a single screen gets built
 * Partnering with solution architects and platform teams to translate future state process design into Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud capabilities, ensuring the build stays true to the business intent and not just the ticket
 * Identifying and scoping opportunities for agentic AI through Agentforce to augment or reimagine these processes. Examples include supporting KAM account planning, event follow up, or field coaching insights, along with defining the human in the loop model around it
 * Facilitating design workshops, process walkthroughs, and governance conversations with client business owners to convert domain expertise into build ready requirements
 * Developing business cases, future state process maps, and executive ready narratives that connect process transformation to measurable outcomes
 * Providing planning, design, and advisory support across the sales and medical technology lifecycle, from process design through requirements, configuration oversight, and adoption
 * Acting in a mentoring capacity to support the career development of colleagues, particularly in building functional to technical fluency
 * Supporting business development efforts, including Statements of Work, proposal development, and client presentations
 * Contributing to internal practice development including methodology, toolkits, training, and recruiting, with a focus on codifying process playbooks for Life Sciences commercial and medical functions
