Are you ready to be inspired, challenged, motivated to do your best, and have fun while you're at it?We're on the lookout for a Senior Backend Cloud Engineer to join our team at Mimacom, where we play off each other's strengths to create exciting digital products for customers all over the world.We develop digital products that enable businesses to achieve faster, easier, and more impressive results, whether it's in banking, retail, manufacturing, life sciences, or beyond.Right now, our software touches the lives of 50 million users every single day.We're looking for a Senior Backend Cloud Engineer who is eager to develop high-quality backend solutions in a cutting-edge cloud-native environment.What You'll DoAs part of our cloud-native development team, you will play a key role in building secure, scalable and high-performance backend services that support critical business functions.You'll collaborate closely with architects, developers, QA and DevSecOps engineers to bring high-quality digital products to life, with a strong focus on identity management and Azure-native technologies.Design and implement backend functionality using Azure Functions, applying SOLID principles, clean code practices and design patterns to ensure robustness and maintainability.In collaboration with architecture and security teams, using Azure AD B2C and OAuth2/OIDC standards.Build secure, end-to-end solutions by managing tokens, secrets and communications through Azure-native services such as Key Vault, Private Link and API Management.Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins or Azure DevOps, integrating automated testing, static code analysis and security scanning tools.Enable observability and troubleshooting through effective instrumentation, logging and monitoring using Application Insights, Log Analytics and other Azure tools.Strong experience in backend development with Java and a deep understanding of software engineering principles (SOLID, design patterns).Experience with serverless architecture using Azure Functions.Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, especially PaaS offerings.Hands-on experience with authentication systems and identity providers such as Azure AD B2C or others based on OAuth2/OIDC.Proficiency with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub).Fluency in English and Spanish.Bonus points if you have experience with Quarkus, Spring Native, GraalVM or hold Azure certifications.Talk to one of our recruitment team to discuss what you might be able to bring to our projects.Holidays & Flextime: You will enjoy 30 days of vacation.We understand that while you love your work, it's just one part of a whole person.Choose your OS: Whether you prefer macOS or Windows, we'll provide the system of your preference.Career Growth: We work hand-in-hand with you to create a plan that fuels your professional development and helps you make an impact on your projects.You don't have to come, but it'd be great tohave you there.At Mimacom, we know that creative minds thrive on exciting projects.Gijón MimacomType: Full time
