design including schematic capture, component selection and electronic simulation Engineering analysis and documentation (Derating, Worst Case, Reliability, Radiation, EMI/EMC Analysis, FMECA, Power Budget) Supporting Hardware/Software/System integration, test, validation and qualification Directing in-house and 3 rd party PCB layout design teams Deliver prototype and product quality manufacturing packages Playing an active role in the leadership of the team Required Skills and Qualifications 13 - 15+ years' experience in a hardware product design role, in the Space or an equivalent High Reliability/Safety sector Experience of line management or leading large multi-functional teams would be an asset Expertise of high speed digital design and Serdes interconnects Experience of design and manufacture of complex circuits and multi-layer (10+) HDI PCBs Knowledge of LEO/GEO communications payloads Experience of circuit and PCB design and simulation tools Specialist knowledge
