## About the Role

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

 * Experience in FinTech, SaaS, financial services, or other data-intensive environments
 * Previous experience working with reconciliation platforms or financial data solutions
 * A proven track record of leading technical delivery projects
 * Experience managing or mentoring development teams
 * Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle

Technical Environment

You'll work extensively with:

 * Microsoft SQL Server
 * SQL querying, optimisation and performance tuning
 * Data manipulation and analysis
 * SSRS Or Power BI

## Description

As part of continued growth, they're looking for a Principal Developer to lead technical delivery, support and develop engineers, and help shape best practice across multiple client-facing projects.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll combine technical expertise with team management and project ownership.

You'll be responsible for:

 * Leading and mentoring a team of Developers across multiple levels.
 * Supporting career development, performance, and technical growth within the team.
 * Driving engineering standards and development best practices.
 * Reviewing and approving technical solution designs.
 * Overseeing project build activities and technical delivery.
 * Managing defect triage and resolution throughout testing phases.
 * Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
 * Leading peer reviews and ensuring high-quality delivery outcomes.
 * Working closely with project stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
