## About the Role

* Proven production experience designing, operating, and taking technical ownership of scalable cloud-native platforms.
 * Deep cloud-native expertise in Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and public cloud environments (GCP or AWS).
 * Strong software engineering skills in Go, C#, or TypeScript applied to production tooling, services, or automation.
 * Experience with GitOps, ArgoCD, and CI/CD pipelines, including automated policy guardrails and clear infrastructure APIs.
 * Solid knowledge of distributed systems and networking, including service mesh (Istio), edge technologies (Cloudflare), IAM, and observability.
 * Strong technical judgement and collaborative communication, with developer empathy and the ability to articulate trade-offs clearly to diverse audiences.

## Description

At Dojo, we are building the next generation of reliable, secure payment infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to take technical ownership of the core foundations powering our products. In this role, you will design and evolve scalable cloud platforms that empower engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate services with greater speed and confidence.

As a senior individual contributor within our Core Infrastructure team, you will lead high-impact initiatives from discovery through to production, translate complex requirements into simple self-service capabilities, and make architectural decisions that deliver lasting value.

What you will do...

 * Own major platform initiatives end to end, making pragmatic architectural decisions and delivering measurable outcomes across core infrastructure.
 * Design, build, and operate reusable cloud capabilities across compute, networking, identity, and data, elevating standards for reliability, security, and observability.
 * Create secure self-service patterns and clear platform interfaces that reduce operational overhead and empower developer teams.
 * Lead workload modernisations and migrations onto supported cloud platforms, driving consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
 * Partner cross-functionally with engineering and security teams to establish guardrails, drive adoption, and mentor engineers.
 * Participate in a compensated on-call rotation, resolving complex technical challenges and turning incident learnings into better automation and resilience.
