Our ideal candidate must have experience in 3E legal accounting software and 2+ years of experience in a professional services organziation.  * 2+ years experience in law firm or professional service industry cash application
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
 * Proficient in data entry and time management
 * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.

## Description

* Apply incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards) to client accounts and invoices in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
 * Reconcile daily cash receipts and investigate discrepancies in payment applications.
 * Coordinate with the billing and client services departments to resolve unapplied or misapplied payments and ensure proper account adjustments.
 * Communicate with clients, attorneys and team members regarding payment details, remittance information, and account status as needed.
 * Processing of one-time credit cards mailed by clients and those emailed to accounts receivable
 * Transmittal of checks to bank
 * Process client account adjustments as needed
 * Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of cash application workflows.
