## Description

Our partner is looking for a Test Automation Engineer - Cucumber based in Spain., This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced automation testing professional to strengthen software quality across dynamic technology projects.
You will design and execute automated testing strategies with a strong focus on Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Working within an Agile/Scrum environment, you will collaborate closely with development and delivery teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Your work will contribute directly to reliable, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.
The role offers exposure to modern technologies, international projects, and diverse technical environments.
It is well suited to a proactive tester who combines technical expertise with strong communication and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Accountabilities

 * Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scenarios to validate application functionality, reliability, and quality.
 * Apply Cucumber and BDD methodologies to create clear, maintainable, and business-aligned automated tests.
 * Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders within Agile/Scrum processes to define testing approaches and resolve defects.
 * Contribute to test planning, execution, analysis, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks and quality processes.
 * Communicate test results, issues, risks, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Support quality assurance activities across international projects and adapt testing practices to different technical environments.
 * Where applicable, work with supporting technologies such as JMeter, Docker, cloud platforms, Jira, Azure DevOps, and microservices.
