* Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium in Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik, Informatik, Physik oder Mathematik (Promotion gewünscht)
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse in Kommunikationsnetzen und Netzwerkprotokollen (TCP/IP, Routing, QoS, 3GPP) und Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse moderner Kommunikationssysteme (SATCOM, 5G/6G, Mesh-Netze, MANET/FANET) sowie Multi-Domain- und hybride Kommunikationsnetze
 * Erfahrung in der Entwicklung und Bewertung komplexer Algorithmen für Kommunikationssysteme oder Netzwerkoptimierung
 * Erfahrung mit Optimierungsverfahren (lineare/nichtlineare Optimierung, kombinatorische Optimierung, Operations Research)
 * Sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python sowie idealerweise in MATLAB oder C++
 * Kenntnisse im Bereich Beam Forming, Antennensysteme oder Hochfrequenztechnik
 * Kenntnisse im Bereich Machine Learning, insbesondere Reinforcement Learning oder KI für Kommunikationssysteme (AI for Communications)
 * Kenntnisse im Bereich mathematische Modellierung und Graphentheorie
 * Analytisches Denken sowie Freude an der Entwicklung neuer Algorithmen
 * Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

## Description

* Konzeption, Entwicklung und Bewertung intelligenter Algorithmen sowie KI-gestützter Verfahren für die Orchestrierung, Optimierung und Automatisierung hybrider Kommunikationsnetze (SATCOM, taktische 5G/6G-Funknetze, MANET, FANET)
 * Optimierung von Routing-, Ressourcen- und Kapazitätszuweisungsverfahren hinsichtlich Latenz, Durchsatz, Verfügbarkeit und Resilienz
 * Entwicklung von Algorithmen für Beam Management, Beam Planning sowie Antennen- und Funkressourcenmanagement
 * Modellierung von Traffic-, Demand- und Netzwerkverhalten zur Optimierung zukünftiger Kommunikationsnetze
 * Entwicklung und Validierung von Simulations- und Optimierungsframeworks
