## About the Role

* Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung als Machine Learning Engineer, AI Engineer oder in vergleichbarer Rolle, idealerweise in einem Produktumfeld und nicht rein in der Forschung
 * Sehr gute Python-Kenntnisse und sicherer Umgang mit PyTorch oder vergleichbaren Frameworks
 * Fundierte Erfahrung mit LLMs im Produktivbetrieb: Fine-Tuning, Evaluation, RAG, Umgang mit Halluzinationen und Fehlerraten
 * Erfahrung mit NLP auf Dokumenten, gerne inklusive OCR und Information Extraction
 * Cloud- und Deployment-Erfahrung (Docker, CI/CD, AWS, Azure oder GCP)
 * Verständnis dafür, dass in unserem Kontext Korrektheit vor Geschwindigkeit geht
 * Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse, da unsere Datenbasis und unsere Kunden deutschsprachig sind
 * Sehr gute TypeScript-Kenntnisse, sowohl im Backend (Express), als auch im Frontend (Lit Web Components)
 * Erfahrung im Gesundheitswesen, in der Medizintechnik oder mit regulierten Daten
 * Kenntnisse zu MDR, ISO 13485 oder EU AI Act
 * Erfahrung im Aufbau von Teams oder in der fachlichen Führung
 * Startup-Erfahrung in einer frühen Phase

## Description

* Weiterentwicklung unserer LLM- und ML-Pipelines zur Analyse unstrukturierter medizinischer Dokumente (Arztbriefe, OP-Berichte, Befunde, Scans)
 * Design und Umsetzung von Extraktions- und Mapping-Logiken auf medizinische Abrechnungskataloge (GOÄ, EBM, ICD-10)
 * Aufbau belastbarer Evaluations- und Qualitätssicherungsprozesse: Wir müssen jede erzeugte Rechnung nachvollziehbar begründen können
 * Fine-Tuning, Prompt-Engineering, RAG-Architekturen und der pragmatische Mix aus klassischem ML und LLMs
 * MLOps: Deployment, Monitoring, Versionierung, Reproduzierbarkeit
 * Datenschutzkonforme Verarbeitung besonders schützenswerter Gesundheitsdaten (DSGVO, § 203 StGB) gemeinsam mit unserem Compliance-Setup
 * Technische Sparringspartnerschaft für den CTO, inklusive Vertretung in kritischen Themen
