This role will partner closely with Data Office leadership, business stakeholders, technology teams, and enterprise partners to identify opportunities to modernize, simplify, and enhance how data is managed across the organization. The successful candidate will help shape and execute the future vision for the Data Office, driving improvements in operating models, governance processes, organizational effectiveness, data products, risk management practices, controls, reporting, and business adoption. Unlike traditional program management roles, this position focuses on identifying business problems, developing recommendations, influencing stakeholders, and leading transformational change. The role combines elements of strategy consulting, business transformation, operating model design, and change leadership. This is a senior individual contributor that requires strong analytical, communication, and influence skills, along with the ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries to deliver sustainable improvements., Data Office Strategy & Transformation * Act as an internal consultant to Data Office leadership, helping identify and prioritize strategic improvement opportunities. * Evaluate current operating models, processes, governance structures, organizational capabilities, and technology solutions to identify opportunities for simplification and modernization. * Develop future-state strategies, operating models, and transformation roadmaps that improve effectiveness, scalability, and business value. * Lead high-impact initiatives that advance the Data Office's strategic objectives. * Support the development and execution of multi-year transformation plans. Business & Organizational Effectiveness * Assess organizational structures, roles, responsibilities, and delivery models to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accountability. * Develop recommendations to optimize processes, organizational capabilities, and workforce utilization. * Support workforce planning, operating model redesign, and organizational change initiatives. * Identify opportunities to centralize, automate, simplify, or eliminate low-value activities. * Define success metrics and business outcomes for transformation initiatives. Data Program Modernization * Drive initiatives that strengthen data quality, business data management, data products, AI readiness, governance capabilities, and risk management practices. * Help define future-state capabilities supporting trusted data, self-service adoption, data risk management, analytics, and AI enablement. * Evaluate industry practices and emerging trends to identify opportunities to advance the firm's data program. Strategic Advisory & Executive Support * Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, recommendations, and strategic communications. * Facilitate leadership workshops, planning sessions, and decision-making forums. * Provide analysis and challenge on strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and organizational priorities. * Support leadership teams in evaluating trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and implementation approaches. * Develop materials for senior executives, governance forums, and steering committees. Transformation Delivery * Lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy development through execution. * Track benefits realization and ensure transformation initiatives deliver measurable business value. * Manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholder engagement activities. * Drive accountability across participating teams and stakeholders. * Establish reporting and metrics that demonstrate progress against transformation objectives.
