The ideal candidate will have experience leading multi-stakeholder UAT efforts, developing policy-driven test scenarios, and coordinating defect tracking and resolution across distributed government project teams. This role will collaborate closely with State program, IT, and product management teams to ensure a successful, well-tested system launch. Roles & Responsibilities * Lead and own end-to-end UAT coordination across the pilot agencies, including test scenario design, tester coordination, and issue tracking/triage with State/dev teams * Own creation of all UAT deliverables (test strategy, scenarios/scripts, test data, defect log, daily status, go/no-go recommendation, final UAT summary), working with State staff to ensure accuracy and direction * Develop realistic, policy-driven test scenarios covering initial application intake steps (person/household search, program participation verification, application data validation, expedited status, worker assignment) across all in-scope public assistance programs (SNAP, GA, MFIP, MSA, RCA, Tribal TANF, Emergency Assistance, Child Care Assistance, Housing support) * Ensure designated State program staff are engaged in the full scope of testing; coordinate directly with county and Tribal Nation testers * Track, triage, and prioritize identified defects/issues with State Product Management and development teams, and manage communications/feedback to testers on resolution status * Document and prioritize issues, gaps, and enhancements identified during UAT prior to Go-Live * Provide a go/no-go recommendation ahead of Go-Live launch * Support pilot feedback and evaluation efforts by contributing UAT-related data to monthly/weekly governance dashboards and reporting to State sponsors * Adopt the State's meeting schedule and program procedures; participate in local agency project meetings as needed ## Related Videos - [How To Test A Ball of Mud](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/173-how-to-test-a-ball-of-mud) - [Are Classical Automation Frameworks Dead?
