In-depth Windows experience is a must. * Strong familiarity with systems administration disciplines like capacity planning, performance analysis, troubleshooting, trend analysis, etc. in enterprise environments. * Implementation of procedures-based solutions to support and monitor the effective operations of an element(s) of the infrastructure. * Broad understanding of network models and protocols is a plus. * Good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory administration as they relate to endpoint identity, device management, Group Policy, and sign-in processes. * Experience with virtual/remote desktop & application platforms such as Windows 365, AVD, Citrix XenDesktop and PaloAlto SASE VPN. * Troubleshoot escalated incidents requiring software, network, and crash-dump analysis, including Dell and Lenovo driver failures, using tools such as WinDbg in collaboration with other ITS client services teams. * Ensure that client policies, procedures and standards are followed. * Knowledge of automation and scripting using PowerShell, WMI, and relevant Microsoft APIs is required; experience with .NET or C# is desirable. * Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, Active Directory networking, and endpoint network security, with the ability to diagnose connectivity, authentication, and name-resolution issues. * Document detailed incident & problem analysis for major system disruptions.
