## About the Role

The successful Senior AI Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

 * Strong commercial experience building LLM or NLP-based systems
 * Hands-on experience with platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Cohere, Mistral, or Hugging Face
 * Expertise in fine-tuning techniques, including supervised fine-tuning and prompt optimisation
 * Strong understanding of RLHF, RLAIF, and preference modelling approaches
 * Advanced Python development skills
 * Experience with tools and frameworks such as LangChain and Hugging Face Transformers
 * Familiarity with data tooling including Pandas, DVC, and Weights & Biases
 * Experience evaluating model performance using both quantitative and qualitative metrics
 * Knowledge of speech technologies, including speech-to-text and text-to-speech solutions
 * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
 * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, experimental environment

## Description

As a Senior AI Engineer you will join a high-impact AI team focused on developing and deploying advanced generative AI solutions.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

 * Building and deploying LLM-powered applications from prototype through to production
 * Fine-tuning large language models for specific use cases and content requirements
 * Designing, curating, and managing datasets for model training and evaluation
 * Developing and optimising Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
 * Creating evaluation frameworks and quality metrics for AI model performance
 * Implementing human-in-the-loop feedback systems to improve outputs
 * Supporting AI-driven features such as summarisation, personalisation, and real-time content generation
 * Exploring speech and audio technologies, including text-to-speech solutions
 * Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and design teams to deliver innovative AI experiences
 * Contributing to experiments involving multimodal AI across text, image, and audio
