## About the Role

* Extensive experience in developing high-volume, enterprise-scale applications with Core Java and J2EE.
 * Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Java design patterns.
 * Expertise with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, and Spring Data JPA.
 * Experience building and consuming RESTful web services with a strong understanding of REST/JSON standards.
 * Familiarity with SOAP web services.
 * Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
 * Proficiency with Git, Maven, and JUnit.
 * Experience using GitHub Copilot to accelerate Java application development, including code generation, refactoring, and unit test creation.
 * Ability to validate AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and security.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Full-stack development experience.
 * Experience supporting cloud-native or containerized applications.
 * Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
 * Experience with modern observability and site reliability engineering practices.

This role is for a Senior Java Developer who will provide technical leadership, direction, and oversight to development teams. The position involves leading the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex enterprise applications.
