Other Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: * Microsoft Cloud Background Check:This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter., * Fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and debugging. * Design, build, and operate distributed services and microservices on Azure (App Service, AKS, Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL). * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and infrastructure-as-code. * Experience with Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, or high-throughput data pipelines. * Agent-first: Design and ship agentic systems (tool-calling, RAG, multi-step reasoning) with Semantic Kernel or LangChain, optim * Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with relational and/or NoSQL data stores. * Own features end-to-end: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and live-site support. Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year.
