## About the Role

* Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
 * Experience in aircraft W&B engineering with knowledge of C-C manufacturing

Qualifications We Prefer:

 * Experience with carbon manufacturing processes
 * Experience in Data Science or Statistics or Engineering
 * Python experience
 * SQL querying experience
 * Experience with graph databases, sematic layers, and data ontologies
 * Experience with Git or similar software revision control best practices
 * Understanding of software development/engineering lifecycle from concept to delivery
 * Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence

## Description

* Partners with Carbon engineering and Carbon manufacturing teams to identify digital use cases and develop a project roadmap
 * Develops code within Databricks to transform, analyze, and visualize carbon data to support RCCA investigations and other use cases
 * Acts as a carbon data steward helping the Collins Data Quality and Governance teams develop rulesets for data governance
 * Partners with the other LS Digital teams to build or leverage lifecycle data applications, the digital thread, digital design processes, and other W&B data analytics methods
 * Responsible for identifying data gaps and leveraging CORE processes and tools to identify opportunities for CI where possible
 * Attends daily tag-ups and participates in the Agile project management process using tools like Jira, Confluence, and others as needed
