## About the Role

* 15+ years of software design/development experience.
 * 2+ years of public cloud experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
 * Strong experience with SaaS/PaaS platforms, such as:
 + Workday
 + Oracle Cloud
 + MuleSoft
 + Boomi
 + Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
 * Strong expertise in:
 + Application Architecture
 + Data Architecture
 + Integration Architecture
 + Security Architecture
 * Strong understanding of SQL, NoSQL, and cloud database technologies.
 * Demonstrable hands-on technical experience.
 * Experience with integration technologies connecting modern applications with legacy platforms, including Kafka.
 * Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture and System Design.
 * Strong knowledge of security frameworks and authentication technologies:
 + SSO
 + OAuth
 + SAML
 + OIDC
 * Experience with Microservices Architecture and APIs.
 * Strong understanding of container platforms and deployment patterns.
 * Strong understanding of observability, including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
 * Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience with planning, execution, delivery, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Azure or Google Cloud Platform Architect certification.
 * SaaS product certifications.
 * Experience building AI-enabled applications and integrating with LLMs.
 * Understanding of AI application implementation patterns and agent frameworks.
 * Experience or exposure to process automation tools and technologies., * Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent specialized training/professional experience.

## Description

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across application, integration, data, cloud, platform, and security architecture, with hands-on experience designing secure, scalable enterprise solutions. The architect will provide technical direction to engineering teams and oversee solutions from design through implementation., * Own end-to-end solution architecture and design, from concept through implementation and delivery.

 * Provide architectural leadership and technical direction to engineering and technical teams.
 * Perform Buy vs. Build analysis, evaluating technical, qualitative, and quantitative factors.
 * Lead architecture and design reviews, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
 * Analyze application portfolios and identify opportunities for optimization, simplification, and modernization.
 * Lead Proofs of Concept (POCs) and technology deep-dives for new and partner technologies.
 * Resolve technical roadblocks involving architecture, performance, scalability, and integration.
 * Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and technology costs.
 * Design secure, scalable, highly available enterprise solutions.
 * Collaborate with business, product, engineering, security, and infrastructure teams.
