The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/J2EE, Spring ecosystem, RESTful and SOAP services, and distributed systems and a proven ability to deliver complex, high-volume, secure applications that meet functional and non-functional requirements., * Experience building and supporting high-volume applications. * Expertise with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA. * Strong understanding of SOAP web services with XML and JSON, and experience building RESTful services. * Working knowledge of front-end technologies such as Handlebars, Vue, and ReactJS. * Proficiency with XML and JSON binding libraries (JAXB, Jackson, Gson). * Unit testing with JUnit and contribution to automated test suites. * Experience with Git, Git branching and merge strategies, Bitbucket, Maven, Artifactory, and Eclipse or equivalent IDE. * Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace. * Familiarity with MQ technologies (WebSphere MQ or ActiveMQ). * Experience in performance tuning and understanding of JVM internals. * Experience with Groovy scripting. * Strong object-oriented programming skills and knowledge of Java design patterns. * Experience in distributed systems development using Java/J2EE and web technologies. * Practice in defensive programming and application security. * Experience with GitHub and Copilot.
