* Experience: Proven track record leading technical initiatives and mentoring senior engineers in fast-paced, innovative environments
 * Technical skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), React or equivalent, and an object-oriented language (Java, Python, C++, or similar); hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Infrastructure as Code, microservices, API design, CI/CD, observability tools (e.g. DataDog), and automated testing
 * Soft skills: Strong communicator and collaborative leader who can influence peers and leadership alike; growth mindset with a passion for innovation and learning
 * Education: A background in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

* Drive technical strategy across multiple teams and domains, designing scalable, resilient architectures for global eCommerce platforms - from customer-facing experiences to backend operations
 * Own critical technical decisions, balancing engineering excellence with pragmatism to deliver high-quality solutions on time
 * Champion best practices in cloud-native development, microservices, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, and cybersecurity across the organization
 * Mentor and grow senior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, psychological safety, and continuous improvement
 * Bridge engineering, product, and business teams, ensuring technical direction aligns with organizational goals and delivers real impact for patients
 * Represent engineering in conversations with external partners and vendors, advocating for sound technical standards
