Preferred Qualifications * Experience with platforms such as Snowflake, DynamoDB, Oracle, Hadoop, Athena, or EMR. * Experience with streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or ActiveMQ. * Familiarity with reporting and observability tools such as Tableau, Splunk, Datadog, or Domo. * Experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, storage, orchestration, and automation tools such as Docker, Packer, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. * Exposure to AI platforms, vector databases, feature stores, model monitoring, retrieval-augmented generation, or production ML infrastructure. * Knowledge of payments processing, digital commerce, or card-not-present fraud., The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $180,000 to $205,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. ## Description We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a focused team within SEPS Data Science supporting payment, subscription, and risk experiences across PlayStation's direct-to-consumer business. This is a hands-on role for someone who will build data, dashboards, reports, and systems that help teams fight fraud and improve decision-making. Work ranges from short-term efforts to longer strategic projects, requiring creativity, adaptability, and strong technical execution.
