Preferred Qualifications * Experience installing structured cabling or low-voltage systems. * Experience working with fiber optic and copper infrastructure. * Telecommunications or network deployment experience. * Backgrounds in construction, electrical, industrial, utility, or oil and gas. * Experience working from scissor lifts, elevated work platforms, or aerial lifts. * Experience with cable testing and validation. * Copper termination experience. * Experience with tech support, hardware support or as a field technician. ## Description We are seeking Cable Deployment Technicians to support the buildout and expansion of a large-scale data infrastructure campus. This is an opportunity to join a team responsible for installing, deploying, and maintaining the physical network infrastructure that powers mission-critical environments. As a primary resolver for the support team, you will troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues, create and maintain documentation, and pass knowledge to junior staff. Shift Options Day Shift Sunday-Wednesday 7am-5:30pm (30-minute break) Wednesday-Saturday 7am-5:30pm (30-minute break) Night shift Monday-Thursday 8pm-6:30am (30-minute break), * Move and implement large enterprise equipment. * Install, route, and secure fiber optic and copper cabling. * Perform patching activities between equipment and within server racks. * Ensure safety and security standards are maintained during cabling and rack installation. * Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities. * Safely use material handling tools and equipment. * Support server rack and network equipment deployments. * Assist with infrastructure inventory and materials tracking. * Work alongside deployment teams, field technicians, and project leadership. * Follow ticketing systems and workflow processes to complete assigned work. * Maintain accurate documentation and status updates.
