The individual will work as a member of a team with deep experience in GM's quality issue management and warranty systems. The individual will bring a data science toolkit and innovative spirit to generate ideas and execute projects that improve overall efficiency of quality business processes. The work will generally consist of listening to/framing stakeholder problems, creation of new data pipelines, building of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) solutions, and development of accompanying user interfaces that enable implementation of solutions for direct decision support., + Work as a member of a cross-functional team to propose and implement high-impact data driven analytic solutions that address challenges for quality teams. + Apply Data Science and Modeling techniques to drive data driven decision making and solve complex problems: o Build predictive/prescriptive models and machine-learning algorithms o Analyze large amounts of diverse information to discover trends and patterns o Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data o Monitor and sustain model effectiveness o Present complex information using data visualization techniques + Work with diverse technical teams to provide analytical dataset pipelines and user interfaces to ensure project deliverables fulfill business needs and timing + Create technical documents for models and processes + Present complex information using data visualization techniques and data storytelling + Create repeatable and scalable code and processes for improving development/execution efficiency., This role is categorized as hybrid.
