## About the Role

Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a technical support or help desk role.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of commonly-used technical support concepts, practices, and procedures. Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and ServiceNow is expected. Experience with customer service, call handling, and ticket management is also required.

Work Environment

This role is a full-time, onsite position requiring presence at the office five days a week. Various shift options are available., * Experience in retail IT support, desktop support, or from a Managed Service Provider (MSP) background.

 * Possession of or pursuit of certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Fundamentals.
 * Familiarity with PowerShell scripting.

## Description

This position provides essential technical support to end users for a variety of issues. The Help Desk Representative will identify, research, and resolve technical problems while responding to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests. The role involves documenting, tracking, and monitoring problems to ensure timely resolution. This position operates under immediate supervision, relying on pre-established guidelines to perform job functions., * Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end users via phone, email, and in-person requests.

 * Identify, research, and resolve technical problems related to hardware, software, and network issues.
 * Document all support interactions, including steps taken and resolution, within the ticketing system.
 * Monitor and track open issues to ensure a timely resolution and follow up with users as needed.
 * Escalate complex issues to the appropriate higher-level support teams when necessary.
 * Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory.
 * Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
