## About the Role

Our client is seeking a DevOps Developer with at least 2 years of experience to support software delivery and infrastructure automation in an Agile Scrum environment. The role requires strong Linux administration and Ansible skills, with hands-on experience in scripting, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices. The position supports mission-critical systems and requires eligibility for Public Trust Clearance.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance., * Minimum 2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.

 * Linux administration experience, Red Hat preferred.
 * Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and automation.
 * Scripting with Bash and Python.
 * Experience with Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Crucible.
 * Experience integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines.
 * Familiarity with secure configuration and compliance standards.
 * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 * Eligible for Public Trust Clearance.
 * Nice to have: experience in government or regulated environments, familiarity with compliance frameworks and security scanning tools, exposure to containers or cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.

Education Requirements:

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

## Description

* Install, configure, and maintain the software management toolset supporting development and deployment workflows.
 * Develop, implement, and maintain software configuration management solutions.
 * Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
 * Support CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and secure software delivery.
 * Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system and pipeline issues.
 * Ensure systems comply with organizational security and DevSecOps standards.
 * Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
