## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
 * Seven + years of professional IT experience in application development, systems analysis, database/platform administration, or production support.
 * Ability to work independently, manage multiple technical assignments, and collaborate with senior technical teams.

## Description

* Support application architecture, technical design, development, testing, deployments, and modernization initiatives.
 * Troubleshoot application, database, interface, infrastructure, and batch-processing issues.
 * Support production and non-production environments, releases, upgrades, configurations, and on-call operations.
 * Administer Snowflake, including databases, schemas, warehouses, users, roles, security, performance, and cost optimization.
 * Administer Tableau Server/Cloud, including users, permissions, dashboards, data sources, extracts, schedules, and platform performance.
 * Develop and support SQL queries, reports, scripts, data solutions, and reconciliation processes.
 * Perform database administration, query tuning, data corrections, archiving, and performance optimization.
 * Support AWS/cloud environments, UNIX/Linux administration, integrations, and enterprise interfaces.
 * Maintain technical documentation, procedures, diagrams, and operational standards.
 * Collaborate with architecture, development, infrastructure, security, database, data, and business teams to resolve technical issues.

Snowflake & Tableau Administration

 * Administer and support enterprise Snowflake and Tableau environments, ensuring availability, security, performance, and reliability.
 * Manage Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, users, roles, permissions, and platform configurations.
 * Monitor Snowflake workloads, queries, storage, and compute utilization and assist with performance and cost optimization.
 * Administer Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud, including users, groups, permissions, projects, data sources, queries, dashboards, workbooks, extracts, schedules, and subscriptions.
 * Monitor Tableau platform performance, extract refreshes, scheduled processes, and system utilization and troubleshoot operational issues.
 * Manage Snowflake and Tableau access controls in accordance with enterprise security and data-governance standards.
 * Support Tableau connectivity to Snowflake and other enterprise data sources.
 * Support platform upgrades, integrations, configuration changes, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
 * Maintain administration standards, operating procedures, and technical documentation for both platforms.

Data, Reporting & Development Support

 * Develop and support enterprise reports, queries, scripts, and data solutions.
 * Support data reconciliation, database corrections, data archiving, query tuning, and performance optimization.
 * Work with analysts and business stakeholders to translate reporting and data requirements into technical solutions.
 * Support development and testing of application enhancements and technical fixes.
