## About the Role

* Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an ISSO supporting major federal information systems/applications.
 * Bachelor's degree required
 * Must be proficient in Microsoft Project for planning, tracking, and reporting security tasks and remediation activities.
 * Experience working cross-functionally with Project Managers and Product Owners to deconflict, scope, plan, and execute continuous monitoring and security efforts.
 * Proven ability to effectively communicate and drive security plan changes and improvements to maintain NIST compliance.
 * Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, assess risks, and prioritize security tasks.
 * Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey deadlines, risks, and remediation strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Knowledge with auditing security controls
 * Superior writing, communication, and critical analysis skills.
 * Skilled in MS office suite
 * Works independently, proactively identifies, and completes task.
 * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams and stakeholders.
