Preferred Qualifications * Experience developing front-end user interfaces using Astro UX or Azure UX. * Experience with software engineering principles, including Software Configuration Management, Software Architecture and Design, and Software Life Cycle Management. * Experience with one or more of the following: Java, C++, Python, JS frameworks (jQuery UI, Open Layers), Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, MongoDB, REST, and OpenAPI. * Experience using dependency management and automation services (e.g., Ivy, Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins). * Experience using cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure). * Familiarity with practices such as test-driven development (TDD), agile software development, and CI/CD management. * Experience with front-end software for control systems, embedded FPGA, operator interfaces, or control gimbals. * Adaptability and strong communication skills. ## Description Our organization is seeking an experienced and senior-level Software Engineer and Front-End Developer. This is a contract position. The office locations for this role are Albuquerque, NM; El Segundo, CA; or Kent, WA. This position requires 100% onsite work., The selected Software Engineer will join a team focused on building the next generation of products and services. You will be responsible for designing and developing front-end software, working with UI/UX experts to create Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI). Initially, the role will focus on requirements gathering, documentation, and system architecture and design.
