Some customers have specific on-boarding requirements, including background check and drug testing requirements that go beyond WWT's requirements. Ability to meet these requirements may be necessary for continued employment, depending on needs of the department. ## Description The Software Engineering Supervisor provides first-level leadership support to a software engineering delivery team. With a focus on delivery assurance, they act as a player/coach/leader. Accountable for product delivery and responsible for coaching, mentoring, and managing a team of software engineers. Builds and extends relationships with peer leaders across functional spaces. Works closely with Solution Engineers, Project Engineering Supervisors, Prod Ops, IT, & Quality peers to grow/support product solutions. This role is an integrator of people/processes, a problem solver, a mentor to direct reports, and should have domain competency in information technology/software engineering principles., * Provides leadership and promotes WWT core values and best practices. * Grows and develops members of their team, understands their goals, and works with them to achieve. Holds regular and effective 1 on 1s, provides real-time coaching and engage in difficult conversations as needed, recognizes, and rewards the right behaviors. * Manages talent for direct reports.
