## About the Role

* Solid experience as a Technical Architect, with a strong focus on the Java ecosystem.
 * Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
 * Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
 * Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
 * Seniority: Senior (extensive background in software architecture is valued).

Nice to have

 * Knowledge of eAudit: in the context of the European Commission (EC), eAudit (or the electronic audit module) refers to the automated, digital auditing workflows integrated into the EU's institutional systems.
 * Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
 * Experience with public grants management processes.
 * Prior involvement in European open source projects.
 * Experience with business workflow orchestration.

* Design and define technical architectures based on Java for enterprise systems.
 * Lead architecture decisions related to cloud platforms, microservices, and containerization.
