Competences * Strong expertise in UX writing, content design and digital communication. * Excellent ability to simplify complex business and technical topics into clear, intuitive and actionable content. * Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and information architecture. * Good knowledge of accessibility guidelines, plain-language principles and inclusive communication. * Excellent Dutch and English writing, editing and proofreading skills. * French is considered an asset. * Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills. * Autonomous, proactive and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership. * Critical thinker with excellent attention to detail and quality. * Comfortable challenging assumptions and driving improvements. * Passionate about creating trustworthy, customer-centric digital experiences. Tools & technology * Proficient in Figma, Jira, Confluence and Excel. * Comfortable working with AI-powered tools, plugins and emerging technologies to improve content quality, efficiency and collaboration. * Familiarity with conversational AI and AI-assisted content creation is a strong plus. ## Description Content creation & optimisation * Create and optimise UX copy in Dutch and English for websites, customer portals, self-service journeys and AI-powered experiences. * Write clear, concise, accessible and user-focused content that helps customers complete tasks with minimal effort. * Apply plain-language, accessibility and inclusive communication principles. * Create content for complex customer scenarios, including error messages, edge cases and empty states. * Audit existing content and identify opportunities for improvement. * Continuously optimise content based on customer feedback, analytics and usability testing. Content governance & quality * Develop and maintain content guidelines, standards and best practices. * Safeguard tone of voice, terminology and consistency across digital touchpoints. * Maintain and evolve content assets, repositories and reusable content patterns as a source of truth. * Ensure consistency across products, channels, teams and partner initiatives. * Act as a quality gate for customer-facing content, reviewing clarity, accessibility, consistency and linguistic quality. * Proactively identify content gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement. * Challenge stakeholders constructively when content or requirements can be improved.
