 * 8+ years of experience in IT consulting, solutions architecture, or enterprise architecture.
 * Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
 * Experience with enterprise systems integration and modernization projects.
 * Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT governance frameworks.
 * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
 * Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and consulting engagements.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities., * Master's degree in a related field.
 * Professional certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, PMP, or equivalent.
 * Experience with DevOps, microservices architecture, and modern application development practices.
 * Experience working in consulting environments and managing client relationships.

## Description

Muthuma Tech Consulting is seeking an experienced and strategic Principal IT Consultant & Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex technology solutions for our clients. This role combines technical leadership, enterprise architecture expertise, and client-facing consulting responsibilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, business leaders, and technical teams to architect scalable solutions, guide technology strategy, and ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

 * Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-scale technology solutions.
 * Provide strategic IT consulting and technology advisory services to clients.
 * Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
 * Develop architecture roadmaps, technical standards, and best practices.
 * Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects.
 * Lead technical workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution presentations.
 * Oversee system integrations, cloud migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
 * Ensure security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements are met.
 * Mentor consultants, architects, and engineering teams.
