## About the Role

* You have a strong track record of designing and delivering scalable and performant backend systems in a cloud environment, preferably with Go (Golang) & Typescript.
 * You are experienced in building event-driven architectures using AWS SNS/SQS, and are familiar with modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
 * You have solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices, and systems integration patterns.
 * You bring deep knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software design patterns.
 * You have several years of proven experience in backend software development, ideally in a fast-paced E-commerce or logistics-focused environment.
 * You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and take pride in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
 * You are highly self-organized, with a strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving mindset.
 * You are a team player with strong communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment.
 * Experience working with monitoring tools and implementing observability best practices is a plus.
 * A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.

## Description

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs and distributed systems to support our ERP team. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and frontend developers to build reliable and scalable services that power our global operations., * You will design, build, and scale backend services in Go and Typescript to support Emma's global fulfillment and logistics operations, helping us become the world's leading sleep brand.

 * You will develop and maintain robust, secure, and high-performance REST APIs that integrate with various internal systems and third-party providers.
 * You will work with event-driven architectures using AWS services such as SNS, SQS, ensuring smooth communication across distributed systems.
 * You will take ownership of backend components end-to-end-from development and testing to deployment and monitoring (full DevOps).
 * You will ensure high code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous delivery pipelines.
