Understanding of core banking systems, payments, channels, regulatory constraints, and legacy systems is highly valued. Skills & Mindset: * Former Architect/Analyst mindset with a current strategist approach: deep understanding of technology to challenge architects, but focused on strategic outcomes. * Pragmatic strategist: able to deliver solid recommendations quickly, balancing analysis with actionable advice. * Ability to influence without authority, build networks, and get things done in a matrix organization. * Excellent executive communication skills: able to write and present for a CIO, with clear, structured, and concise PowerPoint and memo-writing abilities. * Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and working in environments with high autonomy and low formal structure.
