## Description

Technology is at the heart of everything we do. From supporting essential council services to delivering innovative digital solutions for our communities, our ICT team plays a vital role in helping Bassetlaw District Council work smarter, faster and more effectively.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, curious and proactive Applications and Digital Development Officer to join our growing ICT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and making a real difference through technology.

About the Role

As an Applications and Digital Development Officer, you'll support, develop and maintain the Council's business applications and digital services. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, helping to improve systems, streamline processes and introduce new technologies that support excellent public services.

Your work will include:

 * Supporting and administering key business applications and digital services.
 * Analysing user requirements and identifying opportunities for improvement.
 * Implementing system enhancements and supporting new software projects.
 * Working with data, reporting tools and system integrations.
 * Assisting with testing, releases and user acceptance processes.
 * Building positive relationships with colleagues, customers and software suppliers.

No two days are the same. You'll have the opportunity to learn new technologies, contribute to digital transformation projects and help shape the future of ICT services within the Council.
