The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of project execution, with a particular focus on civil engineering works, including tunnels, shafts, dams, underground caverns, and hydraulic structures. This project will be based in Ponferrada, near Leon and we offer certain flexibility location-wise. Your main responsibilities * Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of the project lifecycle. * Lead and supervise civil engineering activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations. * Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of civil works. * Monitor construction progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies. * Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and schedules. * Participate in stakeholder meetings and represent the project in technical discussions with authorities and partners. * Ensure quality control and adherence to contractual obligations. * Assist in budget management and cost tracking related to civil components.
