You will join a compact (3 persons) team collaborating closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions from research to production., As a Senior / Lead Computer Vision Engineer, you will own computer vision and generative AI features from research and prototyping through to production deployment. This is primarily an individual contributor role, with an approximate split of 80% hands-on technical work and 20% technical leadership. You will help guide and support the team, without being responsible for managing a large organization. At CarCutter, you will work on production-grade AI systems in a highly competitive market. We actively explore state-of-the-art technologies, including image and video generation models while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, scalability, and commercial viability. This extends to the way of working itself, where it is expected every engineer uses and continues to learn about AI tooling to accelerate the work. What you'll do * Own computer vision and generative AI features end to end, from research and prototyping to staging and production deployment. * Evaluate state-of-the-art computer vision and generative AI technologies, including open-source models and API-based solutions, using rigorous benchmarks based on real-world use cases. * Design, implement, and optimize production-grade pipelines, with a strong focus on inference performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. * Help the team move faster by sharing technical context, processes, resources, and best practices. * Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into customer-facing products. * Assess the maturity and business relevance of the latest advances in computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI. * Contribute to technical decisions and help balance image quality, robustness, performance, and commercial constraints. * Write clear technical documentation covering system design, model behavior, evaluation methods, and operational considerations. * Support the team through knowledge sharing, technical guidance, and mentoring., You will work on the core product and see the impact of your work every day. Our solutions are used by real customers at scale, which means your technical decisions directly influence the product and its business outcomes. Work with large and diverse datasets Our processing pipeline handles approximately 100 million images per year. This real-world data comes from a wide range of environments and use cases, creating challenging and meaningful computer vision problems to solve. Access high-quality training data Our quality control teams in India support data labelling and curation, helping us build reliable datasets for training and evaluating our models. Help shape the future of the market CarCutter is pushing the boundaries of automotive visual production. With projects such as NextGen360, we are introducing new standards in the market. Join a compact and ambitious team Over the past two years, we have significantly increased our focus on technology and accelerated our innovation roadmap. You will join a collaborative team where technical contributions are visible and have a direct impact on the product. ## Related Videos - [Photonic Computing: Programming a New Class of AI Accelerators (incl.
