We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys telephony and Unified Communications and wants to become our go-to engineer for all things Cisco Webex. You'll take ownership of our telephony solutions from deployment through to ongoing support, working with customers, troubleshooting issues and getting out to client sites to install and configure handsets and associated equipment. You'll predominantly work across Cisco Webex Calling and our wider telephony estate, but we're an MSP, so no two days are quite the same. You'll also get involved with first and second-line IT support, giving you plenty of opportunity to broaden your technical knowledge beyond UC. Importantly, this isn't purely a support role. You'll also be involved in new customer deployments, migrations and UC projects, working with the wider team to take solutions from initial configuration through to successful deployment on the customer's site. What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for: * Deploying, configuring and supporting Cisco Webex Calling solutions * Taking the lead on Cisco Webex and Unified Communications within our technical team, becoming our go-to engineer as your knowledge and experience with our solutions develops * Provisioning users, numbers, handsets, call flows, hunt groups and other telephony services * Diagnosing and resolving voice, connectivity, handset and configuration issues * Visiting customer sites to install telephones, troubleshoot faults and support deployments * Working on new customer telephony projects, migrations and onboarding * Supporting projects from configuration and preparation through to on-site installation and handover * Working with other telephony platforms across our customer base * Liaising directly with customers and explaining technical issues in a clear, friendly way * Supporting our wider technical team with first and second-line IT tickets when required * Helping us continually improve how we deploy, document and support our UC services, We'll support relevant Cisco training and certifications, giving you the opportunity to build on your existing experience and develop further as our Unified Communications offering continues to grow. Why Force36? We're an established and growing MSP where good engineers get noticed and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact. You'll have real ownership of your area, work closely with the wider technical team and play an important part in how we develop our Unified Communications offering. You won't be joining a huge service desk where you're just another ticket number. You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of our Unified Communications offering, work closely with the wider technical team and develop your expertise as our telephony services continue to grow. You'll work across everything from straightforward handset deployments to troubleshooting more complex customer environments, migrations and new UC projects.
