## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical/computer engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
 * 3-6 years of software development experience.
 * Strong programming, debugging, testing, and software-development skills.
 * Experience with C#/.NET/MAUI, Ruby, Java, HTML, Python, and/or C/C++.
 * Experience developing for Android/Android Studio.
 * Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments.
 * Experience with IoT, connected devices, or hardware/software integration.
 * Experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and third-party integrations.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
 * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience

 * Yocto Linux, MongoDB/NoSQL, or XML.
 * Point-of-sale systems and related technology.
 * POS peripherals such as payment terminals, printers, scanners, displays, and cash drawers.
 * Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or serial communications.
 * Cloud platforms, web-hosting environments, backend services, databases, and web technologies.
 * Embedded systems, CI/CD, automated deployment, or security for connected devices and APIs.
 * Experience working with third-party technology providers.

 * Develop and integrate APIs, SDKs, and third-party technologies.
 * Support USB protocols and device connectivity.
 * Troubleshoot issues involving software, operating systems, networks, connected devices, and hardware.
 * Work with cloud, web-hosting, and backend environments.
 * Collaborate with software, hardware, product, and technology teams.
 * Develop testing, documentation, and support tools for production systems.
