## About the Role

* Extensive experience with IT infrastructure management including cloud services (AWS, Azure) and Linux environments.
 * Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails for web application development combined with expertise in JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express for front-end development.
 * Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience with microservices architecture to build scalable systems.
 * Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, SQL Server, and other relational databases; skilled in writing optimized SQL queries.
 * Familiarity with software development tools such as GitHub, SVN, Git for version control; experience with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
 * Solid grasp of software design patterns, scalability principles, and system security best practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
 * Experience working within Agile software development methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
 * Programming expertise across multiple languages including Java, C++, C#, Python, VBA or similar languages relevant to diverse project needs.
 * Understanding of application deployment processes on cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure; knowledge of containerization tools is a plus.

## Description

* Lead the architecture and system design for large-scale, scalable applications using best practices in software engineering and design patterns.
 * Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that facilitate seamless integration across platforms and services.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, Azure, or similar platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.

 * Implement version control strategies using tools like GitHub, SVN, or similar systems; manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
 * Conduct system analysis to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security; participate in system design for new features or enhancements.
 * Mentor junior developers by sharing best practices in software development, including application development methodologies like Agile and Scrum.
