## About the Role

Solid hands-on Workday testing experience - you've been the one executing scripts and managing defects, not just overseeing the process

 - Experience testing Workday Financials modules and understanding of core finance business processes

 - Comfortable working to a structured test plan with defined entry/exit criteria and governance

 - Strong attention to detail and clear, organised defect/evidence tracking

 - Good communicator - able to work closely with SI teams, business SMEs and the wider programme

Desirable

 - Exposure to Workday Accounting Centre (WAC) or Prism

 - Experience testing within a System Integrator-led delivery model

 - Familiarity with test management/automation tooling (e.g. Azure DevOps)

 - Understanding of data migration or reconciliation testing

 - ISTQB or equivalent testing qualification

## Description

Our client is delivering a global Workday Finance transformation, spanning Workday Financials and Accounting Centre. As the programme moves through its testing phases, they're looking for a hands-on Test Consultant to join the delivery team and execute testing on the ground.

Reporting into the Test Lead, you'll be the person actually running test cases, logging defects, and making sure the detail behind the test strategy gets delivered day to day. This is a delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys being close to the work - writing scripts, executing scenarios, chasing down issues, and keeping testing moving through each phase.

You'll work alongside the System Integrator, Finance SMEs and the wider programme team, supporting a structured testing approach from System Integration Testing through to go-live.

Responsibilities

 - Writing and executing test scripts and scenarios across core finance processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and insurance-specific flows)

 - Running day-to-day testing across SIT1, SIT2, UAT and regression cycles, working to the plan and entry/exit criteria set by the Test Lead

 - Logging, tracking and re-testing defects, and keeping detailed evidence for each test cycle

 - Supporting test data set-up and validation, flagging any data quality or availability issues to the Data/Integration teams

 - Working within assigned test environments/tenants and reporting any environment issues promptly

 - Feeding into daily and weekly test status updates - progress, blockers, defect counts

 - Supporting business users during UAT, helping with walkthroughs and query resolution

 - Contributing to cutover and go-live testing activities as the programme approaches transition to BAU
