## About the Role

* Degree qualified, or due to graduate in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
 * Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to interpret engineering drawings; CAD experience would be beneficial.
 * Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel.
 * Strong communication and teamwork skills.
 * Organised, proactive and eager to learn.
 * Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance or maintenance management systems would be advantageous.
 * German language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.

## Description

* Supporting the Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager with maintenance and engineering projects.
 * Assisting with equipment failure investigations, root cause analysis and reliability improvement activities.
 * Maintaining engineering drawings, technical documentation and equipment records.
 * Supporting the use and development of SAP Plant Maintenance and other maintenance systems.
 * Contributing to maintenance planning, preventive maintenance programmes and equipment strategies.
 * Assisting with engineering reporting, data analysis and KPI monitoring.
 * Participating in continuous improvement and business improvement projects.
 * Working closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and external contractors.
 * Supporting the installation, commissioning and handover of new equipment and plant modifications.
 * Promoting high standards of Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental performance.
